Project Description

This Victorian nursing chair was in a much poorer condition than I initially thought, having suffered severely from woodworm. Nevertheless, I knew this huge project would be worth it, and stripped the chair back to its bare form, and had a new section of wood made and fixed by a local joiner. The chair was completely re-upholstered using traditional techniques and materials, with a small fleur-de-lys print draylon.
