Project Description

This regal-looking Grandfather's chair came to me needing full refurbishment, and required stripping back to the frame, and building back up from scratch. I used modern techniques and materials, such as the profile edging which effectively gives the shape of a traditional stitched edge. I also re-instated the classic button-back, selecting a beautiful ivory fabric with satin pattern, which worked beautifully with the dark wooden frame.
