French Chairs Recovered
Project Description
The main issue with these two regal-looking French chairs was that the fabric was severely worn and frayed on the arms. Their condition was perfect except for the webbing to the seats, which I replaced to give them stability, and I then chose to recover them in a beautiful duck-egg damask fabric from the Jim Dickens Trafalgar Hamilton collection. In pride of place in the shop, they sold quickly to a customer who now has them as a stunning feature in their home.
